GPs enrolled in the RACGP QI&CPD Program must undertake a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course during each triennium to meet the program’s requirements.
This activity focuses on the steps required to perform basic CPR, including assessing the situation, airway management, rescue breathing, chest compressions and compression ventilation ratio.
During the session, participants will learn the theory behind CPR while practising techniques in hands-on case scenarios. This course is based on the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and is delivered by highly trained intensive care paramedics with current and valid CPR trainer certificates that comply with Australian Resuscitation Council policies. CPR 123 personal learning kits will be used during the workshop. Participants will take home this kit to enable them to practise and reinforce the lifesaving skill of CPR beyond the session.
You can register for these CPR and Post Resuscitation Care workshops when registering for the conference through the GP17 registration form.
