Shaping Australia…
one GP at a time

Health and wellbeing defined: The Oxford dictionary defines health as the state of being free from illness or injury and a person’s mental or physical condition. It further defines wellbeing as the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy.

About the

GPs, as frontline defenders of Australia’s health are best placed to change the shape of Australia. By looking after your own mental and physical wellbeing, you’re better equipped to help your patients.

At GP17 we’re committed to looking after you. There will be lots of fun and easy activities that you can participate in throughout the conference, including in between sessions. There will also be a relaxation zone on the RACGP booth where you can take some time out for a short meditation to re-invigorate your mind ready for the next learning opportunities.

The new ICC Sydney is in the heart of the Darling Harbour Precinct. It offers quick and easy access to Cockle Bay and stunning views of Darling Harbour as well being only a short 15-20 minute walk from the heart of the CBD.

To enhance your experience and make getting to and around the ICC easier, we will have movement ushers located on the walks from the preferred hotels as well as throughout the ICC. These friendly staff will be on-hand to help with directions and queries.
