RACGP Rural member meeting

RACGP members are invited to attend the 2017 RACGP Rural member meeting.

The meeting offers attendees an overview of the key work and  achievements of RACGP Rural over the previous 12 months, and the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues of significance for discussion.

The meeting also offers an opportunity to formally recognise and celebrate the winners of the 2017 RACGP Rural awards.

All RACGP Rural members are welcome to attend.

Growing strong and standing strong together

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health member meeting

Thursday 26 October 4.00 pm – 5.30 pm

The RACGP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health annual member meeting is a great opportunity for members to catch up with old colleagues and friends and meet new people. At GP17, the Board Chair will provide an overview of the Faculty’s achievements over the last 12 months and facilitate an open discussion regarding the Faculty’s future direction and priorities.

The meeting also provides a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of faculty members. The 2017 Growing Strong and Standing Strong Together award recipients will also give a brief presentation about their journey and work. The 2017 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Medical Student Bursary Award will also be officially be presented to the recipient.

RACGP Chapter of Military Medicine (CMM)

Annual meeting

RACGP members are invited to attend the 2017 annual meeting of the Chapter of Military Medicine. The meeting includes the election of office bearers for 2017-18 and discussion on the Chapter’s activities during the preceding year.

Annual conference session

Thursday 26 October 11.15 am – 12.15 pm

The annual conference session will include a presentation from the CMM Deputy Chair, Dr Glenn Pascoe, on Medical Aspects of Ejection and Health Impact of Fast Jet Flight, and a presentation from an Army GP.

All conference registrants are welcome to attend.

Registration is not required for the RACGP Chapter of Military Medicine (CMM) meeting.
